The Fox is one of the most common trading ships, popularized by its high cargo capacity and steam engine. The fox is a direct upgrade of the Beaver, providing both a medium mortar and steam engine. Mostly used for trading, it is great for outrunning pirates by going upwind with the steam engine to escape. The Fox has also proved to be a versatile combat ship with a relatively fast turn speed and lack of blind spots.
Trivia
- The Fox, alongside the Steam Goose, is one of two trade ships that are upgraded from previous ships to possess a steam engine, and coincidentally a mortar.
