The Prometheus is a modified Astraeus, sacrificing two long guns per broadside to allow for the installation of a steam engine.
Trivia
The "jack of all trades, master of none" layout of the Prometheus (large size, poor armament, moderate cargo capacity, poor maneuverability and speed) lead to the extreme rarity of seeing a Prometheus used seriously in-game.
