The Fox is a common trading ship, popularized by its above average cargo capacity and steam engine. The Fox is a sidegrade of the Beaver, providing a steam engine at the cost of a reduced cargo capacity. Mostly used for trading, it is great for outrunning pirates by going upwind with the steam engine to escape, also proving to be a versatile combat ship with a relatively fast turn speed.
Trivia
- The Fox, alongside the Steam Goose, is one of two trade ships that are upgraded from previous ships to possess a steam engine, and coincidentally a mortar.
