Shipwright says... Though relatively slow, the Pelican carries a decent amount of cargo and rather large cannons for its small size. An added topsail and additional jib makes the Pelican slightly faster than the Heron.
The Pelican is a mercantile ship based off of the Heron, with an added sail pair to increase its maximum downwind speed. In all other statistics besides build costs and level requirement, the Pelican is essentially just a faster Heron.
Trivia
- The Pelican is less common to see than the Heron, since its speed, although buffed, is still very slow in comparison to most pirate ships. This leads to the Pelican being targeted by pirates quite often.
