Purshovia is an Industrialized Nation, located to the Far-West of the Grand Isles, as indicated by the Shipwrecked Atlas near Fort Verner. The faction is known for it's usage of ironclads or steamships, and being more advanced then all the factions located in the Grand Isles. Purshovia is known to be the main rival of Inyola, both sides having a dislike for each other, cordinating in conflicts. The faction is governed by what is pressumed to be a group of Oligarchs, while it is unknown if they are the official leaders of the faction, is it for certain that they hold the highest power within it. Purshovia is not with out turmoil however, purshovian rebels were heard to have reached the capital at one point.

Locations

Terranfort - The Capital of Purshovia, not much is know about the actual look of it, but is has held a special place in History. Terranfort was burned down by Balreskans when they helped the Inyolans defeat Purshovia, but it has been rebuild ever since. Admiral Marochev, has mentioned the city is or was controlled by a Duke in the past, having to be recalled for an audience with him.

- The Center of Engineering in Purshoviam, home to the famous Dresen Engineers and all their new inventions. It is the place where many of the most advenced pieces of Purshovian Technology are produced, with some of them showing up in the Grand Isles due to a purveyor of wares coming from Purshovia

Westmere - Not much is known about it, except that 5 Ares class ships of the Purshovian Navy came from it, due to the Trader Vick Wessel, who said; "It was no small feat for me to wrangle these bad boys out of Westmere, and we had to drive all the way here at full steam on my own personal coal reserves to make sure we got them delivered in one piece." It may mean that it is a naval base of Purshovia.

History

Not much is known about Purshovia's History but the few parts that are known can only make a uncomplete story. While there is a Kingdom of Purshovia cape, it is unknown what or when it existed or exists, so it won't be included.

Purshovia released their former colony of Verdantium around 30 years before the election of Governor Milbert23 of the Verdantine Sovereignty, it is unknown when the island was colonized by Purshovia, or if it saw any combat during the Purshovian-Inyolan War.

After the Verdantine Sovereignty was allowed to gain independence, Purshovia might have avoided politics in the Grand Isles, only to return once Whitecrest was fighting for it's freedom against the Inyolan Occupiers, sinking the Inyolan Mercenary fleet with their newest invention, the Poseidon.

Trouble was brewing in Purshovia while the Grand Isles were in peace, the War between Inyola and Purshovia saw it's highest point, with the Balreskans deciding to help the Inyolan Emperor against Purshovia. The Balreskan Fleet would set sail for the capital of Terranfort, to loot and burn it down to the ground to secure a total victory over the Purshovians. After the the destruction of Terranfort, Purshovia would fall into a period of chaos, were many cliques would be formed around the nation, with a known resistence also existing, with rebels presumed to be existing still within Purshovia. One of these cliques would be the NPTCo (New Purshovian Trading Company) that would steal several Poseidons from the Navy and later take over Hallengard.

Around this time the renowned Purshovian Admiral, Marochev would make a name for himself. Distinguishing himself in multiple operations, dealing with rebels, and activaly intervining in Purshovia's interests around the World. All due, his full history is unknown to the people of the Grand Isles, with people claiming different sides he has worked with in Purshovia, one is for certain said by a Specifc Trader of Purshovian origin; "The renowned Admiral Marochev is widely revered across Purshovia. Even here, in the nowhere that is the Grand Isles, the people speak of him. In no shortage of reputation, many an armorer and blacksmith forge weapons as gifts for Marochev."

Purshovia over the years have intervened in the Grand Isles, one of these would be under the leadership of Chancellor david89091 of Nova Balreska, where they would force the Nova Balreskas to accept a deal for what they have done to the original verdantines, it is what caused the relations between Purshovia and the Nova Balreskan "McCoup Family" to be not positive towards each other. Purshovia in 2020's Autumn would start a war with Burkeland to question their hegemony over the Grand Isles, they would be able to take over the Fort of Clydesdale, but would be defeated in their attempted capture of the Home Islands of Burkeland.

Admiral Marochev would be forced to come to the Grand Isles once more, with the rising power of Nova Balreska. Several months before a person by the name of Captain Obaum convinced the Nova Balreskans to take over Clydesdale. On February 24, 2021 Purshovia would blockade the island fortress. A day later taking the Nova Balreskan Chancellor, FlipppyyJr McCoup prisoner, and would transport him to an unknown Fortress held by Purshovia. Nova Balreska would send out an expedition to free their leader while the Navy of Purshovia continued to blockade or capture islands. The Nova Balreskans would succead in their Pirson Break of FlipppyyJr with a cost of loosing some of their man. Admiral Marochev would show the people of the Grand Isles his personal Flagship during the final battle over Verdantium shorthly after meeting Admiral Nagasaki of Nova Balreska. The Battle would consist of 3 sides between the Flipppyy Royalists, the Balreskan Guard and Admiral Marochev's forces. Nova Balreska would later surrender, Purshovia forcing them to grant Salem independence.

Purshovia would not interfere with the Grand Isles until Commander Y'Gert of the Imperal Navy of Inyola, by the orders of the new Inyolan Emperor would start a campaign to get rid of any enemies of the Empire within the region, and to liberate it from rebel incursin. He would drag Purshovia Navymen in the Grand Isles to the Inyolan Rebellion's conflict. Inyola would start an offensive to take out both of the islands held by the Purshovian Navy, the islands of Cannoneer's Key and Clydesdale. The Purshovian defenders of Cannoneer's Key would defend the island till the last man, giving enough time for 4 Poseidons and their crews to steal and sink the Inyolan Fleet's Serpent contingent, preventing the attack on the much more important Fort of Clydesdale. The Conflict is still ongoing and is unknown when it will end.
