Before his arrival to the Grand Isles, Vick Wesselsohn was known to have defeated another A'u'kai Warlord bringing peace to the region after his defeat by the hands of Wesselsohn.

The A'u'kai are a collection of people to the North of the Grand Isles, who are known to inhabit parts of Balresk. They still use crossbows and bows mainly as their ranged weapons of choice, and use mighty Longships such as the Pillager and it's Auction Counterpart. They are known to live in longhouses and attack anyone who enters northern waters, such as Inyola and Purshovia.

- The a'u'kai tribes as of now are known to be not interested in using gunpowder, upholding the traditions of their ancestors in archery.
