Nova Balreska is a democratic faction born out of the defeat of the Verdantine Sovereignty, when the Verner Expedition, supported by Whitecrest, took control of Verdantium and established a new nation out of the occupants of Fort Verner and the ex-Verdantines. It is ruled by a Chancellor elected every 3 months, with the Admiral as the second-in-command and leader of the navy.

- Nova Balreska contains both the former Verdantine Brassworks and the Sword and Star Tavern.
- The Grand Sea Lord was originally the leader of the navy before being replaced by Admiral, however after Itz_Tatsu consilidated power following his rebellion against the inyolan puppet leadership of Nova Balreska in the Spring of 2024 he unified the rank of Chancellor and Admiral the following elections.
- The spawn-island of Nova Balreska is named Verdantium, eponymous of the former faction, the Verdantine Sovereignty.
- Nova Balreska takes its name after the origin of the settlers of the Verner Expedition, who were from Balresk, while also having inyolans on the expediton.
