The '''Kingdom of Whitecrest''' is one of the original factions of Tradelands, having been in the game since release. It is a monarchy, led by a King or Queen, with the Admiral in charge of the navy. The Monarch has unrestricted power in choosing his heir, as such, relatively few leadership struggles have arisen within Whitecrest over its history.

The '''Kingdom of Whitecrest''' is one of the original factions of Tradelands, having been in the game since release. It is a monarchy, led by a King or Queen, with the Admiral in charge of the navy. In the past, the Monarch had unrestricted power in choosing their heir, as such, relatively few leadership struggles have arisen within Whitecrest over its history. The heir succession system remained until the formation of Kingdom of Whitecrest-Nassau, that returned democratic voting measures to the succession of the crown once again in Whitecrest after the first Queen lisainwonderland abdicated.

The Kingdom of Whitecrest was a former subject of the Empire of [[Inyola]] until it rebelled under the command of then-Viceroy and later King Taborak. It has been in several previous wars and alliances, having been allied to every other player-controlled faction at one time or another and having fought every player-controlled faction except for the [[Verner Expedition]].

In November 2023, the Kingdom of Whitecrest-Nassau was renamed back to Kingdom of Whitecrest following series of events that triggered a civil war.
