Crews are a key part of Tradelands gameplay due to their importance, but can be avoided. However, going alone may make it dangerous for you while sailing in the Open Seas.
Creating a Crew
To create a crew, invite another player to your crew by using the command "/invite", eg "/invite J_B" - prompting them a choice of joining your crew. Crews can have a maximum of 10 players in them.
Benefits
While in a crew, if you sell cargo, sink a ship or kill a player all of the crew will be rewarded. The Captain of the Crew will be rewarded the most handsomely when a crew sells cargo at a port. If you are killed whilst on your the crew captain's ship, you will be given an option to respawn on the ship.
Trivia
- You can't invite other factions into your crew - only people playing on the same faction as you.
- By default, only crew members can fire cannons on your ship. This can be changed using the cannon privacy setting on the ship panel.
- Only crew members can helm your ship
- The exception to these is in official [[Roleplay Event]s], where anyone can helm your ship and fire your cannons.
