The '''Neptune''' is an extremely bulky ironclad possessing a broadside of 3 medium guns on each side, unique among ironclads. Unlike the [[Poseidon]] or [[Binglehopper]], the Neptune lacks any form of stern protection, making it vulnerable. The front turret of the Neptune can be any one of the Neptune-class turrets. The Neptune Howitzer offers an extremely long range with high splash damage, allowing for long-distance shots that can easily disarm ship broadsides and kill crewmembers, however, it is lacking in raw damage. The Neptune Super Carronade sits on the precise opposite of the spectrum, having the least range of any turret but having the greatest damage of any cannon in the game while still retaining powerful splash damage like the Howitzer. The Super Carronade is also the easiest of the three turrets to disarm, which is compounded by the short range and should be kept in mind when in use. The Neptune Twin Long Guns offers both, having a longer range and higher overall damage output, though it is also very taxing on the gunner's round shot supply and doesn't have great splash damage as the other two Neptune turrets.
