Coal is an uncommon resource obtained when mining with any pickaxe on spawn islands (including Harrisburg) or certain pickaxes on non-spawn islands. Coal is used to power Steam Engine in steamships and craft items such as Gunpowder and Steel. Its many uses give coal a high demand.
