The Minnowclad is a [[Voucher Ship]] that is only obtainable by purchasing the ship with a [[Minnowclad Voucher]] at the [[Premium Merchant]]. It is a combat variant of the [[Minnow]] and a useful ship for raiding, because of it's size, relatively quick speed, maneuverability, and two bow facing swivel guns which are hard to counter with regular cannons. It also comes with a boombox radio for playing tunes while on the seas, that only you and members of your crew can hear.

The Minnowclad is a special ship in that it is one of the only ships in the game to come equipped with cannons when purchased or crafted. When it is first spawned, the lower swivel gun will be an [[Advanced Swivel Gun]] while the gun in the crow's nest will be a [[Spotlight Swivel Gun]], both of which are unobtainable through crafting. The Minnowclad is also unique because of it's cannon armament. It contains two cannon slots, one on the very bow of the ship, and one in an overhead crow's nest position. The crows nest position is especially useful because it allows the wielder more range with his swivel, more turning and visibility for shooting, height for shooting on to the decks of most ships, and more protection from cannons, flintlocks or melee attacks. The crow's nest position however, is very hard to get to without practice, even with the stepping platforms on either side of the mast. Thus, in many quick situations, gunners won't have enough time to get up to the crow's nest position, and will instead take the bow swivel gun.
