The Dragon is the first [[Steamship]] available to craft at the Shipwright in the game. Its engine allows for fast travel wherever it is needed, regardless of wind direction. While her ability to trade is essentially null, her versatility and excellent maneuverability provide for a capable transport. As a combat ship, the dragon is decent but is often outclassed by more capable ships like the [[Phoenix]]  The Dragon when used for pirating is a good way to counter the [[Fox]] or [[Steam Goose]] when they try to escape conventional ships by going upwind. In a navy role however, the Dragon is rarely seen in combat unless you need to catch a fleeing pirate ship.
