The Badger is a semi-ironclad equipped with a heavy armament. The Badger is a stronger variant of the Otter, having an iron-reinforced hull greatly increasing its hitpoints. Compared to the other 8-cannon ships, this allows the Badger to take more damage than before sinking.

Trivia
- The Phoenix is a direct upgrade to the Badger, having identical stats but sporting a steam engine.
- The Badger was removed from the shipwright in the 20 April 2021 update. It was later buildable during May of 2023.
