The A'u'kai are a collection of people to the North of the Grand Isles, who are known to inhabit parts of Balresk. They still use crossbows and bows mainly as their ranged weapons of choice, and use mighty Longships such as the Pillager and it's Auction Counterpart. They are known to live in longhouses and attack anyone who enters northern waters, such as Inyola and Purshovia.

The first confirmed sighting of the A'u'kai in the Grand Isles was when they made contact with members of Hallengard Navy. Years later, an "A'u'kai Warlord" by the name of "Vicking Wesselsohn" would arrive to the Grand Isles, in his search for the strongest warriors around the the sea. Where multiple teams of fighters would participate in a combat tournument, while he would offer riches to the wealthiest people. However it would turn out it was Vick Wessel with a beard who stole a'u'kai items and ships from ruins in the North.
