The Mortar Platform is a voucher-redeemable ship whose purpose is primarily combat-oriented, due to its ability to mount a 48-pounder Mortar. A deadly weapon in the right hands, it allows fairly precise aiming of a powerful mortar. With the proper experience, one person can both helm and man the guns of this ship fairly efficiently. However, its low health makes it a fragile ship when directly targeted.
