Crates are purchasable during big updates or other events. They contain items made out of special materials or unique ones, only found in that specific crate. There are two types of crates, one is the cannon crate, which contains swivels, cannons and mortars made of materials that cannot be obtained regularly. The other type is the Mystery Crate, these crate change their special items which each generally, but craftable weapons, and a few crate only weapons can be found in all of them, non-weapon items include figureheads, accessories and furniture. The community often refers to these items as "Glowies."
