Formed from the Verner Expedition's navy after it successfully defeated and conquered the Verdantine Sovereignty, the first Chancellor of Nova Balreska was Kagaros, with subsequent terms and Chancellors being elected through elections once every 3 months. A small group known as the Verner Expeditionary Militia Force, which had helped the Verner Expedition in its war, was given the old island of Fort Verner, whereupon it renamed itself [[Hallengard]], the island was renamed to fit, and it was declared a vassal of Nova Balreska.

Due to the presence of the pirates, Whitecrest offered its support in helping Nova Balreska drive out the pirates from Hallengard, and continued to assist in the war until Blackwind decided to abandon the island. With the pirates gone, Whitecrest backed out of the war, however Hallengard and Nova Balreska would continue to fight until Hallengard was at last defeated and once again returned as a vassal to Nova Balreska. However, this victory for Nova Balreska would be short, as in January of 2016 Whitecrest demanded Nova Balreska release Hallengard and grant its independence, a demand which Chancellor WilkosGaming agreed to.

Nova Balreska would shift it's relationship with factions a year later in 2017, having experienced the infamous attempted coup of FlipppyySr, which was caused by [[Purshovian Federation|Purshovia]]'s intervention in Nova Balreska under the leadership of david89091. The rebels needing to escape were helped by Hallengard while Nova Balreska gained support in the form of [[Whitecrest]]. The rebellion would be put down with the execution of FlipppyySr in Fort Gallant with fellow rebel leaders. Chancellor david89091 would later form the Northern Confederation with Hallengard. A confict would spark when Maroufix, the Grand Sea Lord of the Navy was attacked by Whitecrest, leading down the line to War between the factions. The Northern Confederation would see success in the first part of the War with Whitecrest, capturing [[Fenwick]] and taking Prisoners of War from the home island of [[Whitecrest (Island)|Whitecrest]] after an invasion. All but one of the prisoners would be executed, with the last one being Admiral sebseb12345678910, who managed to escape from the execution in time. [[Burkeland]] seeing the crimes against humanity committed by the Northern Confederation would decide to help Whitecrest, capturing the Freyr of Hallengard and forcing the alliance to surrender.  

Nova Balreska would once again shift its relationship with Hallengard in 2017 with the infamous attempted coup of FlipppyySr, caused by [[Purshovian Federation|Purshovia]]'s intervention in Nova Balreska under the leadership of david89091. After the war the Northern Confederation would exist for the rest of the year, but would be disbanded by newly appointed Chancellor, Rhonor. He was choosen due to a political struggle inside of Nova Balreska forcing the leadership to step down. Rhonor would use the casus belli claim of Hallengard showing hostility towards them to disband their alliance with them. Later in the year starting the conflict that would become the thing he is most well know, The War of Rhonor's Folly. It started after a Whitecrest Naval Ship attacked Rhonor and his Admirals while on the Sea. The conflict would be a disaster for the faction, loosing many members of the leadership trough out the war. Several future Admirals, Grand Sea Lords and Chancellors would also participate in the conflict as their first experience in war, one of them an Officer at the time, Kircata, would heavly injure the King hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh33333 almost killing him with a mortar. Whitecrest would blockade, invade and fire at the island of [[Verdantium (Island)|Verdantium]] for multiple days, leading to heavy casualties on the Nova Balreskan side, including Rhonor, who would be killed inside of Fort Gallant. Nova Balreska would surrender and would later fall into an attempted takeover by Pavalox. Admiral xxXNIEGEXxx would become the Chancellor at the war's end. Whitecrest would occoupy Perth and make a new alliance with the newly elected Chancellor Kircata. [[Perth]] would later become an official part of Whitecrest and Nova Balreska would find it self weakend and unguided, electing their returning Chancellor, FlippppyyJr.  

After the war, the Northern Confederation would exist for the rest of the year, but would eventually be disbanded by Chancellor Rhonor. Chosen due to a political struggle inside of Nova Balreska forcing the previous leadership to step down, Rhonor would use a claim of Hallengard hostility to disband their alliance with them. Later in the year, a Whitecrest Naval Ship attacked Rhonor and his Admirals while on the Sea, resulting in the War of Rhonor's Folly. This conflict would be a disaster for the faction, losing many members of the leadership throughout the war. The war drew to its close when Whitecrest blockaded, invaded, and fired at the island of [[Verdantium (Island)|Verdantium]] for multiple days, leading to heavy casualties on the Nova Balreskan side, including Rhonor, who would be killed inside of Fort Gallant. Nova Balreska soon surrendered and would later fall into an attempted takeover by Pavalox. Admiral xxXNIEGEXxx became Chancellor at the war's end, resulting in the Whitecrest annexation of Perth.  

During the second term of Chancellor FlipppyyJr to reform the government, Nova Balreska held a vote for a government reform in which elections would be removed in favor of a "General Assembly", who would be responsible for regulating the Chancellor, and should the need arise would have the power to impeach the Chancellor. However, after the impeachment of FlipppyyJr, the powers of the General Assembly were eroded by the following chancellors until its eventual dissolution by Chancellor cholaso, resulting in Nova Balreska's infamous period of coups and rebellions due to now being the only way to remove a Chancellor from power.

And archipelago called [[Nassau]] started a rebellion against their Duke. Cholaso and his Admirals seeing the oppertunity would send Admiral cheeze587 to aid the rebels. The operation would end in a semi-success with the Whitecrest supported Duke fleeing the islands, and Nassau declaring independence but the bulk of the Nova Balreskans forces becoming casualties.
