The slowest sailship in the game, the '''Heron''' trades its speed for a large cargo capacity of twelve and the ability to mount two Heavy Cannons. Due to its slow speed, the Heron is extremely vulnerable to pirates, as even ships with poor crosswind are able to catch the Heron. Nevertheless, it is the first cargo ship the player can obtain with double digit cargo and is still worthy of some respect in that regard.
