Verdantium is an effect material. A verdantium melee has particle effects and a verdantium weapon will deal extra damage over time.

* Verdantium has a slow damage over time.
* If a verdantium weapon has a grimewood hilt (grimey verdantium), the weapon is legendary. Legendary verdantium weapons deal even more damage over time and have special particle effects.
* Verdantium is also an island, currently occupied by [[Nova Balreska]].
