It is a beautiful bell that produces a deep ringing noise, used to signal crew aboard the ship. I intended on auctioning the bell along with 2 exact replicas, but the replicas looked so much like the real thing that I couldn't tell them apart!. As a result, the winner of each bell will receive a certificate of authenticity from the auction house verifying that they own the real bell. Happy bidding!)
